Big sexy music of the ’70s here from Matasuna Records.

The original 7″ of this fetches a small fortune on Discogs, and it’s easy to understand why. “African Bump,” originally a b-side from Argentine-born musician Enrique Lynch is a sensation in the section of the underground where funk, disco and afrobeat intersect. The track has an incredible stomping groove and the zoned-out vocals familiar to listeners of disco from Nigeria.

On the B-side is Lynch’s cover of “K-Jee” from Lynch’s 1972 album Bomba Tropical, a dirty percussion track with flying brass flares and more of those dangerous grooves.
