Sometime BBE and Freerange recording artist Simbad takes a shot at remixing “Tropic City” from Jackie Queens‘ label Bae Electronica and gives it one hell of a whirl. The “Simbad Suite” strikes a perfect balance of passion and soul, made for dancefloors but aimed at your heart.

The original was released on Gina Jeanz’s Bloom EP with Zambian vocalist Mumbi Kasumba – Red Bull has a pretty nice feature describing it. There’s also a Summer Mix for a summer that will never come (well, north of the equator anyway) and a driving dub.

This was originally released May 1, but, you know, “corona,” right…
