Barbara Tucker, Curtis McClain, DJ Jazzy Jeff and DJ Slugo are among the special guest DJs and performers at this year’s Chosen Few Picnic and Music Festival, running for its 36th glorious year in Chicago.
Returning to Jackson Park on July 11 2026, the Chosen Few Picnic and House Music Festival claims an “authentic, unbroken lineage” to birth of house music in Chicago. The event features the original Chosen Few DJs, one of Chicago’s original house music DJ crews consisting of Wayne Williams, Jesse Saunders, Tony Hatchett, Alan King, Andre Hatchett, Terry Hunter and Mike Dunn.

Special guest DJs this year are DJ Jazzy Jeff, Boolu Master and DJ Slugo. Live performers include Barbara Tucker, Curtis McClain (“Move Your Body”) and Christine Wiltshire.
