Straight from the Riga underground, Taran & Lomov take over this week’s episode of RISE, 5 Mag’s weekly DJ mix series.
From Latvia, Taran & Lomov are a dynamic DJ and production duo working together for the last two decades. Their label, Amber Muse, has served as a platform for events, radio broadcasts and an outlet for their own productions, which under this moniker and Queer On Acid have also appeared on Ovum, Kneaded Pains and other imprints.
In October Taran & Lomov released their debut album. Semper Supra is a superb 9 track collection, ranging from analog electronica to minimal, raw techno amped up by a persistently pleasant electro buzz. Exceptionally well produced, Semper Supra is out now on Amber Muse.
