DJ and producer Black Eyes with 5 Mag’s latest cover mix and the 8th edition of SANCTIFY, our deep house mix series.
Black Eyes is a DJ and producer who hails from Manchester, UK and is now a resident of Berlin. He is also the head of Lost Control 2097 where he releases his “hydro-trippin house and aquatic techno from Atlantis,” heavily influenced by heavyweight producers such as Mike Huckaby, Walt J, Omar S and Norm Talley. In addition to the interview in this issue, Black Eyes put together this issue’s cover mix.
This mix is “a collection of tracks I’m either playing out at the moment or just had on repeat listening. I’ve always kept my DJ sets quite deep but with touches of soul and Detroit vibes. I’m always interested in how a mix flows so there is a specific journey I’m interested in taking the listener in this one. I hope you guys enjoy the deep sound of hydro-trip.”
