However, it’s Jack’s releases over the past few years on labels such as Torque (Japan), Fade Records, Subspec, and his own SubSensory Recordings that are advancing his reputation as an artist to watch.
Jack’s original tracks and remixes have broken into the top 50 sales charts on leading outlets. His tunes have been remixed by the likes of Mark Broom, Audio Injection, Adam Jay, and Angel Alanis. He recently remixed for the powerhouse duo of the Detroit Grand Pubahs and Space DJz. And Jack’s own label, SubSensory Recordings, is nearing 70 releases and continues to earn plays by many of techno’s biggest djs.
As a DJ, JAK has headlined events in Tokyo, Osaka, Santiago de Chile, Seattle, San Francisco, Las Vegas, and LA, and his DJ skills have recently been highlighted on popular techno podcast series including Droid Behavior’s D-Node Podcast, Detroit-based podcasts from Blank Code and Dystopian Rhythm, and the Torque Podcast from Japan.
