After the Phuture Reunion, the Frankie Knuckles tribute and a ho’down with the heroes of Dance Mania, Boiler Room is returning to Chicago this January 28th for a tribute to a tribute… to Chicago House.
Daft Punk’s Homework was released 20 years ago, and “if the robots won’t do Alive 2017, then Teachers 2017 is the next best thing on earth.” So says Boiler Room in their announcement of Teachers: A Chicago Tribute to Daft Punk coming this January 28th to Smartbar.
Among the guests and highlights:
Tagteam set between DJ Pierre and DJ Hyperactive
Glenn Underground
Paul Johnson
Boo Williams
Mike Dearborn
Ron Trent
The event will be broadcast live on boilerroom.tv. For those in Chicago, tickets are available at blrrm.tv (and “it’s the only way to get them.”)
