It was about a year ago that Dana Divine told us about The House Club Tour, a pub crawl that spanned the length and breadth of the House Music scene across Chicago’s southside in a single night.
The House Club Tour Pub Crawl is back in full effect on Wednesday, June 29th, this time with an expected attendance of over 1500 people.
What can you expect? This year there will be twelve buses that rotate throughout Chicago’s Southside on three different routes. From 6pm to midnight, the buses will be crisscrossing the city from the South Loop to Beverly, to Auburn Gresham, to Lake Shore Drive and to Pill Hill.
Because of the demand for buses last year, more have been added. Businesses can also “buy a bus” to promote their brand.
Another addition to this year’s goodies is an HCT mobile app ready for download. It will contain fun and interactive features that will enable the pub crawlers to stay connected throughout the evening: who is where, what the drink specials are in certain venues and more.
You can purchase tickets online, and select the venue where you’d like to start off your night. Once you arrive at the venue, get your ticket to ride the buses all night long.
Venues for the House Club Tour include L26, Reggies Rooftop, Gallery Guichard, V75, Norman’s Bistro, Promontory, Francis, Red Peppers, LeMelles and the Family Den.
DJs playing this year include DJ Soulbridge (Italy), DJ Gary (UK), Vick Lavender, Duane Powell, Robert Royale, Terry James, Nick Nonstop, Voc Walters, Mady Mod, DJ Cel, Czboogie, Malik Shabazz, FLX, Torin Edmond, Maurice Joshua, Hula Mahone, Greg Winfield, Celeste Alexander, Dee Jay Alicia, 50 Millz, Ron Carroll, DJ Boxx, DJ Lil’John & DJ Peace.
