I’ve always been a big fan of late blooming DJs, simply because they were bred on the dancefloor for many more years than traditional ones. With this comes a certain discernment and appreciation for music that goes beyond the yawn-inducing “I’ve been playing on vinyl since I was 12!” anecdote. Cranberry & Vodka can often be seen dancing by his now famous “front left speaker” at Smartbar on Sundays.
He’s now migrated to other parties, and this one is from his live set at the new Remedy event at East Room. His style can best be described as Frankie-inspired, with lots of Chicago love.
