Hardcore Traxx, the Dance Mania compilation from Strut Records, is still slated for a release sometime in 2014 on February 11 2014.
In the meantime, the label just dropped this 15 minute “mini-documentary” and promotional video featuring Ray Barney, Parris Mitchell and other personalities of the trend-setting label that all the other Chicago labels coveted and admired – what I called (somewhat awkwardly, but hey, I was working on deadline) the label that other Chicago House labels wanted to be.
