Amid a Chicago night life scene devastated by venue closures, a new club is coming in March 2020 to East Pilsen to reverse the trend.
Radius Chicago is the brainchild of Nick Karounos, owner and operator of Concord Music Hall, the MID, and PRYSM Nightclub. The new venue will open in March 2020 at 640 W. Cermak Road in Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood:
The club will also feature “Cermak Hall” inside Radius, described as a “10,000 square foot multi-purpose event space featuring its own entrance, a full bar and an additional stage” which will be used as a “pre- and post-event space with food and drink options.”
Radius showcases murals created by Lefty Out There, Thank You X, and NYCHOS.
Radius Chicago’s opening calendar features artists including Dillon Francis (opening on Leap Year Day, February 29 2020), Carl Cox (with Chp E), Lil Wayne, Alkaline Trio/Bad Religion, Killswitch Engine and more. Tickets go on sale this Friday for the first crop of shows.
