Atal Music boasts a catalog that includes records from Louie Vega, Chez Damier and Ron Trent, but their commitment and support to the leading lights and emerging talents of South African House Music over the last few years has become something of the label’s signature.
Those worlds are crashing together on “Andingowenu,” the latest release from Atal composed by C-Major (SA) and Toshi. I’ve no idea what the title means, so let’s just run with the idea that it’s an archaic term for “silky smooth soulful House Music.” Coming together here are Diamond Dealer and especially Detroit’s Alton Miller on a superb set of remixes, particularly Alton Miller’s “Oneness of 1 Remix.”
“Andingowenu” by C-Major (SA) featuring Toshi was released today from Atal Music, available at Beatport, Traxsource and the rest of the usual joints.
