“Setting Sun” is the lead from this collection of Bernadette Trax’s output from the last year or so. Most were released on digital, promised on vinyl and a promise has been kept. Featuring Anna Glahn, “Setting Sun” is maybe the best Kevin Yost track Kevin Yost never made: jazz influenced in nature, soulful where it counts and with a steady, positive groove. “Captain Solo” is a bouncy, buoyant deep track, “Mello” a moody turn in the same direction and “Full Effect” an homage to synth pop.
