Boo Williams teams up with vocalist Cei Bei with an assist from Glenn Underground on drums for this twisted-up throwback to an era of ’70s soul with today’s Deep House. The vocal brings to mind something like the Isley Brothers – I have yet to hear Cei Bei turn in anything less than an impressive smooth soul vocal and I doubt I ever will. The “Move” chant on the One (James Brown and the JBs style) by Glenn and Boo really gives roots to the groove – the vocal wanders throughout but always comes back home.
