It’s been rumored for awhile, and know it’s official.Chicago promoters React and Silver Wrapper are bringing acclaimed UK duo Disclosure back to Chicago coming this Thursday, October 24 at House of Blues.

So far this year, Disclosure has played at Coachella, SXSW and a sold out Spring tour. They also just appeared here last weekend with SBTRKT at The Mid’s Lollapalooza afterparty.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, August 9 2013; full release below. Disclosure’s Settle LP was released on June 3, 2013 from Cherrytree/Interscope Records.

Disclosure are Guy and Howard Lawrence, two brothers from the UK producing future/house music and taking the U.S. over by storm. Disclosure have already garnered plenty of praise from the likes of Pitchfork, Fader and New York Times from their early singles and have had a sold out spring US tour including well received sets closing this year’s Coachella Festival and SXSW. Their latest album Settle (out now on Cherrytree/Interscope records) was released on June 3rd, 2013, preceded by their smashing single “You & Me” (featuring Eliza Doolittle) released on April 28th, 2013.

After their debut single “Offline Dexterity” and “Street Light Chronicle” on Moshi-Moshi Records in September 2010, the duo released a 4 track EP on Transparent Records a year after. 2012 witnessed the release of “Tenderly / Flow” and The Face EP on Greco-Roman label. Their first single for Universal Record’s PMR was titled “Latch” and featured undeniable locals from rising UK talent Sam Smith. On February 1st,, 2013, they released “White Noise”, featuring vocals by Aluna Francis from AlunaGeorge. Their live set features the Lawrence brothers performing their blend of pop-influenced garage music with live instrumentation and the occasional guest vocalist.
