UK deep house label Hudd Traxx is celebrating their 15th year with a very different kind of compilation.

15 Years Of Hudd Traxx: Here & Now is a two volume, 10 track V/A compilation featuring a remarkable cast of friends, family and admirers from over the label’s history. Rather than a retrospective, these are all new tracks which have never been heard before (hence the focus on the “Here & Now”).

Among the artists contributing a track to the collection are NYC legend Jovonn, an amazing, must-have track from Nightmares On Wax, Black Loops, JT Donaldson, Mark Hawkins (FKA Marquis Hawkes, and known before that as… Mark Hawkins), label mainstays Agnès and Iron Curtis and Eddie Leader himself. Two digital tracks welcome newcomers DFRA and No Different to the label.

These are “10 tracks which perfectly instill why Hudd started this label of love 15 years ago,” the label notes. “To showcase fierce, uncompromising dancefloor workouts in as sincere and stylish manner as possible. The artists and tracks chosen show the adventurous routes and development the label keep as their main point of focus – to unearth the tantalizing new and exciting sounds of house music’s continuous evolution.”

15 Years of Hudd Traxx: Here & Now will be released in two parts. The first 12″ featuring tracks from Black Loops, Eddie Leader, Jovonn and Nightmares On Wax will be released on May 7 2021. Part 2 featuring JT Donaldson, Mark Hawkins, Iron Curtis and Agnès will be released on June 4, along with the digital release. Nightmare On Wax’s “Authorpe Road” is the sole vinyl-only cut.
