Master C&J

It was once D’Julz’s secret weapon and now you can add it to your arsenal too. Chicago House legends Master C&J with Liz Torres released Queen B**** in 1992; all five tracks on the record consisted of laid back mixes of a track called “Don’t Let Love Pass You By.”

I’d like to believe this was a runaway hit. It damn well should have been – utterly hypnotic, “Don’t Let Love Pass You By” flashes a new contour to the group’s sound and cements their reputation as four of the best to ever make House Music.

A “staple” of his sets for years, D’Julz is releasing the “Get Down” mix from the original as well as his own edit of “Don’t Let Love Pass You By” on his label, Bass Culture. “Over time more and more people have asked about the track,” Bass Culture notes, “and he duly responded to demand by not only clearing his rework for release, but also signing up the original to be reissued via his label.”

D’Julz edit of “Don’t Let Love Pass You By” will be released this month on vinyl from Bass Culture.
