Madison will be at the epicenter of house music and techno universe for three days in July 2025 as Musique Électronique festival returns to Wisconsin’s capital.
The long-running festival held from July 11 through July 13 2025 is produced by DIY rave crew Remain In Night and remains free for everyone, with world-class talent from around the globe.
This year’s artist line-up features 4. Ceri, Dee Diggs, DJ Stingray 313, Ian Pooley, Mark Broom, Mozhgan, Octave One, Sunshine Jones, Todd Terry, Nola Rave, Kitty Spit, Paul Gordon, Shanti, Robert Rich, Hot Summer Gays and Kiisu. The festival takes place in McPike Park (202 S Ingersoll St, Madison, WI 53703).
“This event started from humble beginnings 15 years ago by a group of like minded DIY ravers who wanted to do something positive for their community,” Jason Van Nurden told 5 Mag. “We saw an opportunity within an already established community festival in Madison and pitched them the idea of us producing a dance tent as a side stage.
“Once we were given that opportunity we never looked back and have continued to grow the event year after year. We started as a single day event that was more of a set break to the main stage of the French and World music festival to an integral part of the overall event as a 3-day festival of our own. We’re a DIY rave crew (Remain in Night) full of people who love this music and the culture, and produce this event as volunteers to benefit our local neighborhood center.
“It’s truly a labor of love, and that vibe is palpable at the event.”
