A new Miami-based deep house label is launching in March 2022 with a vinyl-only cut from Spanish deep house explorer Dubbyman.

Sole Aspect is the name of the label owned & curated by Amaré commencing “with my love for record collecting over the last ten years,” he tells 5 Mag. “From Maxwell to Dennis Brown to Ron Trent…my collection tells a story of sensibility and appreciation for timeless artistry.

Crediting “friends and brothers” Karl Injex, Michael Scott (People of Earth) and Kai Alcé (NDATL) in guiding him over the years, Amaré says that after the demise of a previous partnership in a record label, “I couldn’t ignore the ideas flowing through me daily on jumpstarting a new imprint. Thus the creation of Sole Aspect. I wanted to control every ‘aspect’ of the label through my ‘sole’ vantage point. Every artist and future artists on Sole Aspect are a sonic representation of my wide and eclectic taste in music.”

The label launches with the Assemblage EP, a limited vinyl-only 12″ from Deep Explorer Music’s Dubbyman. The Spanish producer (interviewed by 5 Mag in pre-history during a visit to Chicago) delivers three “mesmerizing” cuts which feature Dan Piu, Ras Vadah and Arturo Sanchidrian. Listen below:

Dubbyman’s Assemblage EP will be released on March 1, 2022. More info at soleaspect.com. Amaré tells us that future releases on the label include an EP from Trinidadian Deep and a remix project from Dubbyman & Dan Piu.
