Mark de Clive-Lowe

An artistic legacy is no sure bet, but history is going to place a high regard on relatively few artists of this era. Among them: Mark de Clive-Lowe. The acclaimed jazz and soul producer and performer moves easily between genres and has even invented a few along the way – not out of pretentiousness or hype but simply because the existing boundaries could no longer contain the sounds in his head.

A new EP shows two sides of Mark de Clive-Lowe’s genius – his ease infusing eclectic soul into pop and his ability to impose own distinct style via remix. GAMM is releasing a new 12″, Love, later this month, featuring Mark de Clive-Lowe’s remixes of Whitney Houston’s “Love Will Save The Day” and John Coltrane’s “A Love Supreme.”

Mark de Clive-Lowe remixes are anything but casual and everything but ordinary and these are no exception:

Love is out June 24 2019. Check it out via Bandcamp.
