Opolopo, Sir LSG Remix Ralf GUM’s “Used To Be”

Big money remixes from soulful house all stars.

GOGO Music has become an incubator for star talent over the years. Many of them are shining on their remixes of singles from Ralf Gum‘s last album, Progressions.

The remixes for the latest single, “Used To Be,” are an appropriately transcontinental affair featuring Opolopo with 5 Mag favorite Sir LSG and Italian producer Davide Fiorese (Union Records) slapping together an outstanding assortment of sounds from the soulful side of the spectrum. Opolopo turns the “vibe” knob up to 11 with his remixes – he plunges into the rich musicality and live instruments of the original like he’s found a pot o’ gold. Listen:

Bongi Mvuyana’s vocals here are dope but Opolopo’s instrumental mix is not to be missed either.

“Used To Be” (remixes) are out now on Traxsource, available worldwide September 6.
