The output of CUTZ is sporadic but essential. It sometimes appears digitally, sometimes on vinyl, sometimes single-sided but usually looking like a white label. All great DJ weapons come in plain packaging and this batch of secrets is no exception.

Martin Müller aka youANDme reaches back to 2001 for the sixth edition of CUTZ. The source material this time is the second of Jesper Dahlbäck’s “Power Tools” — the second of three, I believe, if you count “JD’s Acid Power” cuts from 2004. This one was released in 2001 and is cut up with razor precision by youANDme in two new edits. The release straddles the line between a drum-loving DJ tool and a competent minimal but lively stand-alone house track, particularly the A side (the original had no titles, and neither do these).
