One year later and the remixes from Jorge Caiado’s breakout album Time & Space are here. This is one hell of a line-up for a Saturday night gig, much less a single EP: Steve O’Sullivan, Brawther, Dyed Soundorom and John Thomas mixing “Nasha’s Groove,” “Try To Breathe” and “Magic Carpet.”

Steve O’Sullivan leads off with a drum-happy deep remix of “Nasha’s Groove.” Brawther‘s “Deeeeep Dub” earns every one of those e’s in a mix with a stripped-down bite, like rocks rolling in a tumbler and hitting the side on every go round. Dyed Soundorom’s mix is incredibly wild — an upshot of alien vocals and feedback disciplined into really tight grooves. Sleeper hit here comes from John Thomas who conjures some late-night backroom vibes with a sparse but energetic mix.
