Wes Thomas gets “Deep In Your Soul” for Four40 Records

Jumpy two track EP here from Wes Thomas from UK Garage emporium Four40 Records, whose releases by Kastle we’ve covered in the past. “Deep In Your Soul” breaks it down to skin and bones — slammin’ drums, an understated bassline and a lively, uplifting vocal sample with the spare reverse cymbal and sweeping FX to round it out. “Do You” is a pure adrenal rush, leaving the disco kids bouncing off the walls like they swiped their mom’s Xanax and washed it down with a glass of vodka.
