We’re down to the last two stops on Ghostly 20, Ghostly International’s 20 year anniversary celebration and event series. After rolling through Austin, Berlin, Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York, the final two stops are taking place in Chicago and Detroit.
There are actually three events taking place in Chicago this week. The first starts today (October 16) with the opening of a pop-up at Notre (118 N. Peoria) featuring a “limited spread of Ghostly apparel and music including a few new TBA surprises.” On October 17, Ghostly founder Sam Valenti IV will be the subject of a Notre Talk at 7pm.
A more vertical experience will take place on Saturday as part of two related but distinct shows at the same address. Starting at 8pm, Metro will host the first part of the Ghostly 20 Chicago celebration with Tobacco, Shigeto (live), Drama, Steve Hauschildt and SV4 (DJ set). Afterward, the party moves downstairs to Smartbar for Ciel (DJ set), Galcher Lustwerk (DJ set), JTC, Shigeto x Charles Trees (DJ set).
The show is $20 advance or $30 for the full package of both events.
