Loving the sound of this four tracker from Felipe Gordon, all four tracks are quality deep gear and all four are quite distinct from each other.
A1 “Who’s Gonna Be” bundles up a yearning, uncredited vocal (sample? I don’t know), a simple synth arp and stab with a percolating 4/4 rhythm track into an quietly intense journey.
A2 “Wait On You (Say Goodbye)” is more restrained still, flipping a jazzy piano lick into a gently anticipatory, atmospheric groove that builds via some slightly disembodied sanctified vocals.
B1 “Keep Doing What You Love” has a similar semi-sacred feel to the vocals, which this time sit on a raw, no-prisoners house beat and warping pads, while the final and title track is all about a gnawing, gnarly lead synth riff. Potent and classy deep dance floor tracks.
