Dino Gardiakos

A one-time Chicago nightclub owner was sentenced to six years in prison related to charges of transporting 14 pounds of ketamine through customs at O’Hare Airport.

Tim Hecke at CWBChicago was the first to report that Dino Gardiakos (who also DJ’d as Dino G) pleaded guilty to “manufacturing or delivering narcotics.”

Gardiakos was arrested in the early morning hours of March 13 2024 after officers discovered “six containers in his luggage of a white powdery substance that tested positive for ketamine,” according to the Cook County Sheriff’s report. Officers also claimed they recovered “a pill bottle that contained about 5.8 grams of Ecstasy.”

According to the Illinois Department of Corrections website, Gardiakos was taken into custody on July 28 2026 after being sentenced to 6 years for “MFG/DEL > 100 GR KETAMINE/ANLG,” a Class X felony.

At the time of the O’Hare incident Gardiakos was on probation for a previous narcotics arrest at a residence in 2021. After an appearance in court under the most recent charges, he was released under pre-trial conditions.

At the time of his March 2024 arrest, Spybar posted on social media that Gardiakos was a passive member of ownership and “has not been a part of Spybar’s operations for more than seven years.”
