Why compare so many records to Vincent Floyd when you can listen to the real thing?

“Economy of Motion” is a gorgeous track and sounds like an aesthetic creed: you won’t find a more musically proficient or emotionally wrought deep house track that nevertheless does its job for the dancefloor. A simple 4/4 provides the underlying foundation for the most elaborately designed structures, minarets and towers that revolt against gravity. “Symbiosis” is another stellar cut, with Vincent Floyd making sci-fi funk out of little squiggle of melody.
